Esemeraude was the next in line after Rubius to carry out the plan of capturing the "rabbit". She liked Prince Dimand, however he was in love qith Neo Queen Serenity which was an irritation for her. She wanted to destroy Crystal Tokyo so Neo Queen Serenity would be no more, but failed in her plans to do so. She then asked the Wiseman to be appointed Queen of the Dark Moon to which the Wiseman allowed her, but when he placed the tiara on her head she became a powerful dragon. She went directly to Crystal Tokyo, and with all her might made one last attempt to destroy it. Tuxedo Mask struck her with a rose in the middle of the tiara which destroyed her, saving Crystal Tokyo.
