Rubius was the four sisters immediate superior, however Rubius was subordinate to Prince Dimand and the Wise Man. Rubius was often overconfident and at times seemingly stuck-up. Rubius pretended to care for the sisters but in actuality was only using them as pawns in his quest for power. His dream was to see the Crystal Tokyo of the future to be ruled by the forces of evil, and no doubt he saw himself gaining a prominent positions amongst the ruling class. Rubius, however, had to take the rap for the sisters failures when he reported back to the wiseman. Eventually the wiseman killed Rubius, as Rubius attempted to escape the castle on the Dark Moon as it was destroyed by Sailor Moon.
