The Cute Zone

You have now entered the Cute Zone: a weird but wonderous place where normal physics and dimension do not apply. Eyes become larger that humanly (or animely) possible. Arms and legs become shorter and deformed. In rare cases, something what I call "crayon-deformed" happens. Here, you will find the truly weird, and yet you won't care. Oh, pardon my manners. I am your guide, Asuma Shinohara and welcome to the Cute Zone. This particular web page is devoted to anything cute in anime. After surfing a lot of anime-related pages, I realized that there was no one page that intimately dealt with cute -- what it is, how can I get my fix...err, I mean, which anime shows have a lot of cute stuff in it, loads of cute pictures, sounds, etc. So, I decided to make one! The end result is before you, with a little hard work and help from friends, fellow cute converts, and the Internet.

This page is not only dedicated to cute. It is also an alternative to all those "H" (perverted) sites out there. I thought that the "anime spectrum" needed a little balancing out because it seemed that there were too many perverted sites out there and not enough cute sites!! Since I started project way back in February of 1996, unfortunately there have been more and more "H" sites popping up, but there have been a lot more cute sites too!! There were only two cute sites back when I started, but now I can count far more. The battle isn't over yet...

So, if you appreciate or are addicted to cute anime, or are sick of extreme sex and violence in anime, this is the place for you! Want to forget that icky "Urotsukidoji" that your so-called friend exposed you to? Accidentally rent the wrong video and find out you can't get those images out of your head? Unfortunately click on the wrong link, bringing you to some pervert's mecca? If this has ever happened to you, then a dose of cute anime can help get rid of that bad aftertaste. -_^

I'm always on the lookout for "cute" things. If you have something that you think belongs on the page, send email to me and I will consider putting it on the page. I can't guarantee anything, but if a fellow devotee to the cute arts thinks something is cute, I probably will too.
