I must be among the first ones to get hooked onto ST. ^_^The very first time I
saw anything related with ST was back on summer 96.
I've read in an anime/game magazine about ST, the main reason it was featured
was of course because of the character design by Fujishima Kosuke. There were
a few screenshots of Sakura, and I was attracted by those pics, and having at
that time just finished with Tokimeki Memorial (and enjoyed it), the gameplay
of ST fitted right in so I filed it in the back of my head as one of the games
to get when I get a Saturn at the end of 96, when I take my trip back to Hong
Kong.
When I got back to HK I went and bought my Saturn right away, however I didn't
buy ST right away though, I was busy playing Virtual On that I forgotten all
about it. It was not until a week before I had to leave that when I looked at
my collection of Saturn games that I found that I lack RPGs and SIMs and such
so I went out to do a bit more shopping. That day I went into a shop and
inside I saw a double jewel case that caught my attention, and upon further
examination I found that it was ST, and I remembered that I wanted this game
before, so without hesitation I bought the game.
When I got home (in HK) I put in ST and played up to the second episode, but
then there wasn't much that caught my attention, and since I wanted to save
all the RPGs and SIMs for when I get back to Australia, I putted it aside, and
ended up not touching it for the next two months.
And the rest is pretty similiar to Joshoua, I ended up gotten a bit sick of
the FIG and ACT games that I got and wanted to start an RPG or something, and
ST happened to be the one I picked. I fired up ST again, only this time I
finished the game in one go (still remember staying up till 5 in the morning
just to play it ^_^;;;;;;), and from then on, it was no turning back.
The only thing that I regreted was that I didn't finish the game while I was
in HK, otherwise I would've been able to pick up the limited edition of the
first Vocal Collection CD. ~_~
