For Sega to allow Sakura Taisen on the PSX is IMHO "defeatest". Sakura
Taisen helped the Saturn when sales were otherwise sluggish,
and when they were very sluggish, Sakura helped keep sales from being even
more sluggish. "^_^" Without Sakura Taisen you would have just had "Virtua
Fighter 2" and "eveything else" on the Sega side of the charts (games like
Grandia sadly didn't live up too well on the sales charts).

On the other hand, maybe Sega has resigned to the fact that can never have
Sony's marketshare. Of course, this depends entirely on how much Sega
controls ST. For all we know, Red could have never surrendered the rights to
go elsewhere will further installments. All ST games could have been on the
Saturn out of "good faith" and financial tieups with Sega. Can anybody tell
me how deep Sega's control of Sakrua Taisen goes?

At any rate, I wouldn't object to ST on the PSX since I'm not a die hard
Sega fan. I loved my Saturn, but those days are just happy memories, and
occasional orders from import houses. The Saturn is no longer a really
viable system in either country. It might actually get the series even more
of the respect it deserves as well.

This is something I might want to ask the brats on USENET. :P
