Hey folx.
Sorry I got the talking a bit out of hand with the whole Hanagumi
Columns thing, usually I'm not a materialistic bastard like that, but
I thought that this would be the only place where at least people
could see where I'm coming from. I just thought that other people
here would have jumped in on it as quickly as I did, which doesn't
really seem to have been the case. As long as it's not held against
me for all the future here, that's all I can ask.
The reason why it ended early is because I already had won the bid on
the 2VCD Sakura Taisen 2 stuff, which was from the same seller, and
he asked me if I wanted to end the bid early on Columns since he
wanted the payment now. I replied in saying that it would be nice but
not necessary, but he stated that he was satisfied where the price
was at for the time and made a lump sum for me to send to him, so I
did.
I guess it could be said that I'm paying for it now, though, since A)
I don't have an MPEG player for my Saturn and had to give $60 to NCS
to get the device to do so (for the ST2 VCD Set) and B) I won the bid
on the Sakura 1 Limited set, but he set the reserve at $200 and I
already told him I would pay it, so, I got a bit screwed there. But,
considering that that was the only time I've seen Sakura 1 Limited on
Ebay so far, I felt it worth the price. He's sending me other stuff
besides, so it'll probably equal out.
Anyways, I wanted to respond about the ST2 Iris minigame scores...
does the mouse make it that much better? I wouldn't know, seeing as I
don't have one (for the moment), but I've managed 12000, 12560 if I
remember right on the game with the pad (and I think I managed 15000+
one time, but, idiot that I am, chose the third option before turning
the SS off and killed the high score). The game is good training for
dodging stuff, which I find essential in my plethora of shooters and
other action games (Sakura Taisen Dodonpachi, anyone?).
I'm surprised nobody has yet to bring up any stories about Trump
Taisen, since that's pretty entertaining. The two coolest things are
1) holding someone to zero points for the entire game or 2) coming
back from zero to win the total game (both of which I've done). A
challenging triplet to fight against in that game would probably be
Iris, Sumire, and Sakura... though sometimes Maria and Koran have
their moments. For an easy game, it's Reni, Soletta, and Kanna. Any
thoughts on that?
Again, my apologies.
