Actually, Sailor Moon and the others are designed that way because the show was aimed at young children (girls) around the preschool to early elementary school age and it was so kids could recognize who was who really easily. After all, even adults can find the actual story of Sailor Moon really confusing to follow since Usagi has three separate personalities to follow (Usagi/Sailormoon/Princess Serenity). But, if you look at Naoko Takeuchi's original ideas surrounding Sailormoon, she was supposed to have goggles and silver hair. Naoko said that the goggles became an annoyance to draw and she was told that silver hair does not show up well in print or in animation. > My theory is this : I believe a similar quality is present in Sa-tan. As for Satan, I have no idea why this happened, but it sounds pretty good in this case. But, then again, they could live in a world similar to the Clark Kent/Superman world and people are very ignorant until the evidence is REALLY CLOSE for them to see.
