Let me know what you think. I think there's a more down to earth reason. Now that I think about it, I don't think Yoneda ever seen Satan up front until ST2. And by the time Ayame appears face to face with Satan in ST, she was already on her way to becoming evil Ayame. So the two most likely to recognize Satan as Yamazaki never got the chance until it was too late. As for Yamazaki being easy to defeat, he was already cake when you fight him in ST so it wasn't really any different here. It's only when he turned into "Satan" in the end of ST that he became tough(really tough!). Yasu
