Last year they had a whole group of Japanese girls dressed like characters from video games, including Sakura and Kanna. I have a picture of them. Not very good. But I'll try to put it up back up sometime (stupid page crash). > > Actually, I'm surprised I haven't really seen any other discussion of AX > > here yet. Was anyone else there at all? Hearing Kanno > Yoko's piano recital(and panel) brings tears to my eyes even now. *sniff* > Yeah, they screwed up reg. That sucked. I missed opening ceremonies because of that. I almost didn't get into Kanno-sans concert either. The tickets went like hotcakes. Faster than the Mari concert. Oh well, got to attend both. "^_^" Struck out on getting Kanno-sans autograph, but I got one from Mari Iijima and Sachiko Kamimuri, so I'm happy. "^_^" > I'm working on a AX Memories webpage if anyone's interested, but first I > gotta find a way to scan my pics. > I gotta get mine developed. I forgot my camera the second day actually. I only took about 10 pics total I'm afraid, and I would have gotten more if AX wasn't to stingy about pictures at certain events. > But yeah, I should have posted about AX before going. It woulda been cool > to meet some of you MLers. > Yes goddammit! Baka! You should have! :P~~~ I would have given you my cell phone number or set a time and place so we could've met. I met one internet friend there briefly, and hooked up with my best friend. Actually, they had some mailing list meetings posted on the bulitan boards (such as the FanFic Mailing List Dinner) in the hotel lobby. You could have a Sakura Taisen mailing list and #sakurataisen channel metting/party/luncheon/dinner or whatever next year if you're going. :) - John P.S. I bought a Sakura Taisen wall scroll which is hanging up over my bed, and my friend nabbed a Sakura Taisen zippo lighter. :)
