First I apologize to you ST MLers who don't give a crap about AX, but hey, it's good spam ^_^ Jennifer e: > Atashi ga nihonjin no Sakura deshita. Hmm? So were you hanging around Tokyopop on Sunday? > You may have also seen Oogami hovering around nearby. I don't believe I saw any Oogami at the con, unfortunately. > I finally found a picture of the other Sakura at > fansview.com this morning. I wish I'd been able to catch her in person to > take a pic together. Did she sing anything Friday night? Phew! After about 30-45 mins of loading up all the pics at fansview.com, i finally found it at http://www.dm.net/~lillard/0716b042.jpg To be honest, i don't remember if that's the person I saw but who knows. Anyway, the Sakura I saw didn't sing at the contest but was just kinda lying on the floor outside =P. But one of the semi-finalists was a kawaii Meruru-chan(that's Merle to us gaijin) singing "Tomodachi" from Esca. She was so cute esp. after "DreamCast man" grabbed her tail as she screamed "hentai!". > Aside from the 3.5-hour wait for registration, the 2-hour wait for the > Masquerade, and the fact that I missed the Kanno concert... I loved it! Heh, well I missed the masquerade myself but i did manage to catch most of it in LP3 where they showed the broadcast on a big screen. > the masquerade skits were much more entertaining this year than last. I > almost died laughing when Gendo Ikari started getting down with Pen Pen > onstage... And the soy sauce vs. ramen fight was, um... original. ;) Didn't see the soy vs ramen, but yeah! That Pen Pen thing was absolutely hilarious. I need to get a video cam... > Oh, and getting stopped for a picture by a Red Co. rep was pretty cool > too. :) Cool! __________________ Brian e: Just two questions: Mizoguchi Hajime was at AX? how come these things aren't mentioned in the pamphlets? I didn't see any mention of Lisa Ortiz until I read about it on fansview.com... not like i care for her but still. Just wondered why AX doesn't publicize all people who come. Also, I'm curious about the person you label "Kanno-stalker". [I hope it's not me you're referring to =P/=(] -mp
