Okay, this post is off-topic but I think some people on the list might be interested, and what the heck, traffic is low so might as well. ;) Firstly, probably Konami's biggest title for the year is Tokimeki Memorial 2, featuring a whooping 5 CD set. The game is pretty much the same as before (although the old cast is completely swapped for a new cast), but there's a new system added to the game that caught my attention, rivals! That's right, if you're not cautious and inituative rivals will come in to steal your love! I would love to see this system in action, and personally, I hope there's a spot for a similar system in ST3 just to make the game a bit more interesting........ The second is the Super Robot Wars Alpha, a PSX/DC title. Before anyone screams "WTF? What's the point of having a PSX title on DC????", the game, although sharing the same storyline/mecha series for both platforms, the PSX will be in sprits (fully redone, if you've played 4thSRW, F and F Final, you'll know that a number of the sprits were recycled) but the DC version will feature real-time polygon battle scenes. Other features worth mentioning is that the map will be viewed at 45 degree, with the robots fully presented instead of the traditional top view, head only representation. New mecha series added are, wait for it, Macross (original and Plus), Giant Robort, Voltes V, Victory Gundam and numorous others.
