hits since June, 1998.
All right, my favourite
manga artist group has stepped into its 10th YEAR now. Sugoi! Sugoi! Do
you consider yourself a CLAMP fan? But have you seen their FIRST MANGA
before? Here are some images from CLAMP's first manga "Derayd" that you
may haven't seen in any other web site. Also, if you want to see a summary
of Derayd, don't forget to answer that question on my Guestbook! Just click
on the icon on the GeoCities banner. Since all that I
have is the Chinese version, please don't be surprised to see Chinese characters
in them, OK?

Brief Summary: Kenichi is a highschool guy who happens to be in the Kendo club. One evening, when he was taking the train home, he suddenly saw the moon splitting into two in the sky! Then there were earthquakes and the Tokyo city was ruined. Kenichi lost his conciousness, but he heard a female voice calling to him, telling him that he was the "key" to destroy the demons who have just broken the balance in the twin world. Kenichi woke up to find that he was now in a strange land, where he soon met a little fairy (Bessy) and a young swordsman (Prince Ledan). They journeyed together to recover two sacred objects in order to save this spirtual world as well as Kenichi's material world. After much obstacle, they finally came to confront the leader of the demons. And this leader turns out to be... the girl who had summoned Kenichi, the sister of Ledan! It so happened that the demon leader had kidnapped the body of the Princess years ago, and in order to seal a royal sword for the "key," the Princess's "heart" had become the cute little fairy Bessy. In the end, Bessy sacrificed herself as she was meant to be, and Kenichi fought against the demon ruler with Prince Ledan, and they triumphed. Order was restored to both worlds, the moon became one again, and Kenichi returned to Tokyo. He figures out that he must be Ledan's other self in the twin world, although the whole adventure is like a dream that nobody knows of. - The End -
