It's high time for a look at the Utena CD's (or, OSTs as some fans refer to them, the term coming from a condensation of 'Original Sound Track'), don't you think? I think so! The music of Utena is a vital (and often underappreciated) part of not only the story itself (as in the case of "The Sunny Garden") but also in showing the DEVELOPMENT of Utena conceptually. Like everything else, the music shows aspects of the whole, and reflects the minds of the creators- thus, we can enter and explore the world of Utena in a new way through her music... (and maybe this was a bit of a part of the point of the 'cheesecake' CD #6 cover, where the line between 'old and new' Utena (pre and post movie) is drawn...)

Herein is my (admittedly biased and very personal) opinion of the music which makes up so much of Shoujo Kakumei Utena's ambiance and 'feel', broken up into nice little chunks by CD!
