"Anime" is the Japanese word for animation. It has developed into a highly
mature and sophisticated art in Japan. Unfortunately good anime shows subbed/dubbed in English are hard to come by in the US (Sailor Moon used to be a notable exception...), though fansubs do help. Personally my
favourite anime creator is Hayao Miyazaki [filmography][biography][Studio Ghibli],
