Pocket Pikachu Diary
It's a trend; you get a Pocket Pikachu, and you just have to record everything it does, from flying a kite to yawning in your face. I don't know what's so compelling about it... maybe it's because it's so fun?
Anyways, I started awfully late on my Pika-recording, mostly because so many things happened on the week I got my Pocket Pikachu (TV broke down, mom announced she was visiting my messy apartment, etc...), so I decided to start recording on a major moment of Pikachu's life, when he reaches 150,000 steps. Here are the things I've noticed so far:

And here's my Pika-observations since 01/08/1998:
| 153,640 steps taken. Pikachu seems to be reading a lot more. Sometimes appears on the screen blowing a trumpet, and learned how to fly a kite. | |
| 165,243 steps taken. Pikachu was reading all day. ^_^; | |
| 179,247 steps taken. I went to Canada's biggest shopping center, so that gave Pika a lot of exercise. I won two 777 Jackpots today, and when I gave Pikachu 999 watts, he played a sonata on a piano for me. Cute! | |
| 181,156 steps taken. I didn't go out on the 4th, and I loafed around on the 5th. Haven't had much luck with the slots so I only gave Pika 500 watts; he blew kisses at me. ^_^ | |
| 196,122 steps taken. Not much to report, except for the fact that my luck with slots hasn't been that hot, and I haven't won a 777 jackpot in a while. ^_^; | |
| 205,091 steps taken. You know that losing streak I was having a few days ago? Yesterday, I decided to take chances again for my poor starving Pika and I played the slots; would you believe that I won 777 Jackpots five times yesterday? ^_^; I gave the watts in increments of 999 watts, and he went hangliding, walked around on a ball, and played the piano for me. | |
| 215,767 steps taken. Okay, okay, I know... It's been four days that I haven't updated the diary and I've only done 10,000 steps. Mea culpa, I don't go out much during the summer so Pika's only exercise is when I go downstairs to get the (snail-)mail. Mark my words, though, Pikachu's going to get one heck of a workout once school starts! (Ack, I'm late! Run! <jangle, jangle, jangle>) | |
| 234,987 steps taken. At least when I go to the mall Pika gets exercise... ^_^; I gave Pika 999 watts after winning a few 777 Jackpots, and he went swimming with fishies! (Wait, if Pika's a electric mouse, doesn't he get shocked when he goes swimming?...) | |
| 248,448 steps taken. Pikachu seems to be flying kites more. I'm wondering if I'll ever get to 300,000 steps... ^^; You know, a Pocket Raichu would be a nice idea, too... ^_^ | |
| 254,040 steps taken. Pikachu can ride a unicycle now! You have no idea how incredibly cute this is... ^_^ | |
| 271,734 steps taken. I brought him with me yesterday when I went shopping for a new 8.4 GB hard drive. ^_^; Nothing new that I've seen, besides that. School starts tomorrow, so we'll see what happens then... | |
| 302,973 steps taken. I started school so I've been moving around more, and now he's going to school! I saw him try to solve a Math problem, yet he couldn't, so I hope he'll learn soon. He's also playing with a remote control car! Kawaii dechu! ^_^ | |
| 341,237 steps taken. Eep... I forgot to update the diary, with all the stuff going on with the English Pokemon premiere. Gomen nasai! Pikachu has been doing very well, he's even had ice cream for the first time yesterday! Also, I saw him studying History, and I like how he compares Egypt to his sandbox! ^_^ | |
| 350,742 steps taken. Besides racking up three 777 jackpots one after the other, nothing new to report. Pikachu's happy, that's all you need to know. ^_^ | |

| 377,318 steps taken. Pikachu takes baths form time to time now! | |
| 433,002 steps taken. Strangely enough, I haven't seen him do anything special lately, just studying and eating ice cream and doing practically what I do during the day. ^_^; | |
| 473,509 steps taken. Pikachu is using a PC and studying English! There you go, the computer's the proof that Pikachu is a electric mouse. ^_^ |
