"So there I am, surfing the web late at night, looking for nothing in particular. I'm at some obscure and badly designed page, and I've been waiting for 5 minutes for the 200Kb gif animation that does absolutely nothing useful to load up. MIDI music is blaring from my speakers, drowning out my CD player. The sharp MIDI tones overpower the soft, melodic sounds of Delerium. Annoyed, I press the stop button, but the MIDI music continues and reaches an ear-piercing climax. My anger rising, I click on any link on the web page to end my misery......

Suddenly, and most importantly, without warning, I'm transported to a weird world of two-dimensional animated super-deformed... uh, "things". My interest grows as my eyes are bombarded with vibrant colors and ultra-cute pictures and sounds. 'What is this?' I muse. Pictures of swirly-eyed girls and girls with unnaturally big eyes load up onto the screen. Aargh!! More super-deformed girls with starry eyes!! Pink hair.... and blue hair.... and oversized glasses.... even the voice actresses are cute!!! I can't resist anymore, my defences are weakening....'They're....they're all so.....

KAWAII!!!'

My eyes glaze over as I can't stand the overpowering cuteness emanating from my computer screen. 'Must....resist....' But I cannot. Weakly reaching for my mouse to click somewhere else for a brief respite, I manage to go to the cuteness warning. Only then do I realize what predicament that I am in. I have been sucked into the Cute Zone. There is no escape for me now, and the only thing to do now is to accept it. I have been converted to cute."
