Novelization of the X movie
- The novelization of the X movie was separated into two parts,
published in consecutive issues
of Shousetsu Asuka starting with the October 96 issue. The novelization is written by one of the script writers of the movie. The illustrations unfortunately aren't by Mokona-sensei.
- The plot basically follows the movie, but some of the details are different from the movie - some parts are taken from the manga, while others are completely different from either the movie or the manga.
- Lianne also added to my knowledge that the novel itself were to come out on February 10, 1997. Anyone can confirm this for me?
X Film Comic
- The X Film Comic came out on Sep. 30. The book has 260 pages, of cuts from the X movie, laid out so you can read it like a manga. The major cuts are all included, and most of the spoken lines are there too. The following is the ordering info:

X Perfect Book
- The X Perfect Book, a settei shiryoushuu for the X Movie, came out on October 26. (BTW, settei shiryoushuu is like a character design book for a movie: usually characters are drawn in Black and White, featuring all possible poses.) The Settei Shiryous

feature an interview of CLAMP and Rintaro.
