The Gundam.Com website was lauched officially on Oct 7th, 1998 primarily as a place and resource for Mobile Suit Gundam fans. In its first month alone, we received over 600,000 hits with over 12,000 visitors! I primarily started the website as a place to flex my web-design & programming muscles. The website is hosted on an Pentium II NT Server running MS IIS 4.0 with Allaire's Cold Fusion 3.1 as the database & scripting backend. I appreciate any feedback on how I can improve the website or if you notice any bugs in the site, please let me know at amuro@gundam.com I plan to evolve the site design into a modular information engine that can drive data and content for other anime shows as well! Jan 7, 1999 - Gundam.Com announces SIDE7 - a place where Gundam fans and maniacs can place their Gundam-related websites for FREE! Please fill out of the application form to get your own side7.gundam.com address. As a special bonus, all Side7 users will get a @gundam.com email address forwarding service just for joining!

Dec 16/98 - Gundam.Com releases its new look and services. If you find any errors or problems with out new site, please email amuro@gundam.com Hope you like the new look!

Dec 11/98 - We've added the new Character section now! Please check it out! Right now we only have data on the first Gundam series but will be adding more images and character data very soon! We also completed some of the inter-relational data between the characters and suits. So you'll now see more characters associated with suits and vice versa! Enjoy!

Dec 1/98 - We updated the Mobile Suit Datafile today with new images and suits.F91 & 0080 images were added. Data for F-91, V, Wing and Endless Waltz were added. Just two data groups to complete: G Gundam and Gundam X for data. We are working on images for V, Wing and Wing: Endless Waltz now. Some of the new services we are working on: Gundam: The Perfect Collection - an introduction to the Gundam Universe & Series, The Character DataFile, the G-Simulator, Free @Gundam.Com Email Address, Free gundam.com Webpage Space, Gundam Links Page, Anime Classifieds, Gundam News Items, Fan Art Section, Advanced Polling Booth and hopefully more!

Oct 17/98 - Added Gundam ZZ Data & Images. Added Char's Counterattack Images. Added 0083 Images.

Oct 13/98 - Won the Anipike Pick of the Week award!

Oct 11/98 - Updated the Mobile Suit DataFile with data/pictures from Zeta Gundam. Data up for 08th MS Team, 0080, 0083 and Char's Counterattack but no pictures yet. Added a suit search enging and series selector function.

Oct 7/98 - Web site is released. Added the Mobile Suit DataFile with the original Gundam series data.
