Turn-A Gundam OP: "Turn A Turn" (No, I'm not kidding) Sung by Hideki
Saijyou (this really came as a surprise to me. It'll be very interesting
how this will turn out). I don't think he sung any songs for aniime, but
he's a famous pop singer in Japan. Composed by Asei Kobayashi (whose credit
includes "Gatchaman". Oh dear.) Lyrics by Rin Iogi (AKA Yoshiyuki Tomino)
Turn-A Gundam ED: "Aura" Composed, Lyrics, and sung by Shinji Tanimura.

2/99 - More
TURN-A Gundam News. To the left you can see a sample of the cell product
art. Also important to note that the Turn-A isn't referred to as a "Gundam",
but simply just "Turn-A". Perhaps a true Gundam mecha will appear
later on in the series as Syd Mead (who designed the Turn A Mecha) is
rumored to have designed one other mecha that hasn't been seen yet. Here
is more information about the story surrounding the new series, courteousy
of Kota Fujimura from the Gundam Mailing List:
Rolan, 15 yrs old
kid, was sent to earth to investigate earth for the return of "Moon Race"
along with two other kids(Keith Rege and Fran Doll). As these "Moon Race"
kids go separate ways, Rolan was helped by Heim sisters when he almost
drowned, and taken into their family, and started work in the mine.
Two years later, Rolan began to only wish for the peace between Earth
and Moon Race. One of the Heim sisters, Socie, started to take interest
in him. Moon Race tried to negotiate with the lords on earth so they can
return to earth, but the negotiation breaks down. Lords of earth form
a military called "Militia" (well, duh) armed with biplanes and cars with
AA Gun! Jesus, earth did deteriorate. Moon Race, OTOH are armed with 40m
MS. Rolan accidently got on the relic from the past named "Turn-A" (notice
it's not called "Gundam"), and aginst his will, became a soldier for Militia.
Let's see, few other characters are mentioned, but the most important
info among these is Kiel Heim, the other one of Heim sisters, looks exactly
like the queen of Moon Race, Dianna Sorel.

Feb
11/99 - More
information about the new "Turn A Gundam" series was made available
from Newtype Magazine: The story takes place in 2345 during the summer
solstice. A race called the Moon Race comes down to Earth in a giant bi-pedal
machine and demands that land be given to them or they'll take North America
by force. Rolan Seaac, whose coming of age ceremony occurs on the day
of the Moon Race attack, is asorbed by a robot that comes out of a stone
statue! It appears there is no Mobile Suit technology in this Universe.
