(It's a chinese site, if anyone actually wants to read it then I'll post the
url, and btw it's a geocities site ^_^;;;; But they ARE going to get their own
domain name soon), but Sony or Windows doesn't get mentioned.
The article said that so far the "planned" platform release are the Dreamcast,
Gameboy Color and Neo Geo Pocket Color, with the GBC and NGPC linkup-able with
the DC to exchange information.
Now back to the actual creditiblity of the article(s).
Firstly, John is right, I don't think Sega would let Red give ST to Sony. Sega
let GBC has it because it was able to get Nintendo to linkup GBC with the DC,
but if ST comes out for PSX/PSY, there's nothing that Sega can gain from it.
Unless as asked before, does Sega have enough shares in ST to prevent this from
happening?
NGPC getting ST was kinda expected since NGP/NGPC was announced to be linkable
with the DC at a very early stage, so if GBC gets ST while NGP doesn't get it is
kind of wierd.
However the Wonder Swan getting it seems a bit strange, I think the main reason
it pretty obvious, a black and white system with ST, I think everyone knows what
I mean.
As for WIN95/98, hmmmm, that would be interesting to see. While we all know
that DC is a very powerful 3D platform, even out performing hi-end PCs with
video accelerators, and most likely the battle in ST3 is going to take advantage
of this power, so how would lower end machines be able to handle these?
Now I have a question for all of you on the ML, since ST3 is spanning so many
platforms, which one/ones will you be getting? I think I can assume that most
people will be getting a DC, but I'm also interested if anyone is going to get
the portable versions? Me, I'm betting my money on the NGPC version. ;)
