That rule is "Be nice." It is inevitable that people will have different viewpoints on a subject, but there's no reason to lose one's temper or to resort to name-calling, like "goddamned idiots", "YOU lazy americans", or "Mr. Asshole". From now on, anybody who displays that kind of rudeness will not be allowed to post directly to the list. Instead, their posts will go to me for review. If you don't want your posting privileges to be restricted, all you have to do is exercise a little self-control. It's always possible to compose a message that is cool, calm, and collected, even if one disagrees with something another person has written. This list is not merely an extension of Usenet, and I will not tolerate the misbehavior or the crude language that are commonplace there. I didn't create this list so that people could get more garbage in their e-mail, I created it so that people could enjoy discussing Sakura Taisen and have a good time. So please, no more flames. If you aren't sure whether a message you want to send to the list is acceptable, send it to me first and I'll tell you if it is acceptable or not. It's better to be safe than to trigger a flame war that only creates hostile feelings and makes the participants look bad. I apologize to those subscribers who have been offended or bothered by any posts from this list. I will try harder to make sure that every post to the list is worthwhile, and I hope that everyone else tries harder as well. Thank you for your time. Paul Chi STML Administrator
