Problem is, you seem not to understand that this "crappiness" is a matter of opinion. An opinion that not all of us share. Some of us like WD's translations, or localizations if you prefer that term. And while they do sometimes go to far with their changes, I've yet to see an instance where a good game was "made crappy having gone through the localization process".
