Three men in a shadowed room appear.
Man with brown hair: Can we find her?
Man with black hair: [turns around] Don't worry! That's why we came here!
Man with brown hair: We'll definitely find her.
Man with black hair: That's right! Even if we sacrifice everything. Now, let's go! It's time...
The three walk towards a door. It opens, flooding the room with light
and a screaming crowd.
[Subtitle--A farewell and an encounter! The destiny of flowing stars]
We see a building with sign "Live Tour 1996" "Threelights." In front is a huge crowd of teenage girls (one of whom looks a lot like Osaka Naru). We then see the inside, which has an even bigger amount of girls cheering and colored lights flashing. The view changes to a stage where the black-haired man is standing holding a red rose, along with a microphone being worn on his head. Then we see the brown-haired man with a white rose and a microphone also. And last we see the white-haired man, also with a yellow rose and microphone. Music starts playing and the cheering gets even louder. The white-haired man puts out his rose and we see a close-up of his face. The same is done with the brown and black-haired men. The black-haired man tosses his rose up into the air into the crowd.
The scene switches to Crown Parlor.
Luna [in Ami's arms]: Three Lights?
Rei, Minako, and Makoto: [look up from magazine] Don't you know?
Luna: What's that?
Rei: A super popular idol group!
Minako [hands clasped together; looks infatuated]: Of course, I like Seiya! He looks a little wild and dangerous...

Rei: Well... isn't he a bit childish?
[Close-up of Makoto (with the same look as Minako).]
Makoto: That's what we like, don't we?
Minako's face appears beside her as they both nod their head, making a "Hmm, hmm" (or "yeah, yeah") noise. [Cute!]
Rei: I like Yaten better...

Rei: ...with that unapproachable beauty!
The three have that same "I'm in love!" look on their face with their hands clasped together.
Minako: He seems somewhat unpredictable.
Makoto: That's what we like, don't we?
The three, "Hmm hmm," again. [Even cuter, especially the look on Artemis's face! ^_^]
Luna: [sweatdrops] You're totally kicking your heels!
Ami: Don't, you guys!
Luna: Ami-chan? [looks up at Ami]
Ami [has a dreaming look in her eyes]: Don't forget nice and intellectual Taiki! With his graceful adult mood.

Makoto: He looks so cool
Rei: That's what we like, don't we?
"Hmm hmm." As they finish that, a shocked look comes on their faces. They look over at Ami, who has the same look on her face, hands clasped.
Minako: Ami-chan, are you an anonymous fan?
Ami [surprised]: I... I don't know much about them!
(?): Eeehh?
Minako: How about you, Usagi-chan? Who are you concerned for?
Usagi: Mamo-chan.
The girls get an exasperated look on their faces as Usagi sighs.
Makoto: What's up? You look depressed.
Usagi: To tell you the truth...
The scene skips a few minutes forward.
Rei: Going to study abroad? Is he?
Luna: Usagi-chan, you didn't tell me anything about it!
Usagi: He told me that his thesis was acknowledged and he's been invited to a university in America.
Artemis: That's great!
Minako: [pushes Artemis down] You should be thoughtful of how Usagi feels!
Artemis: Sorry!
Rei: Will it be long?
Usagi: [nods head]
A flashback occurs to a scene set on a bridge that Usagi and Mamoru are on.
Mamoru: For a year... or perhaps a little longer than that... I won't be back. Would that be okay?
Usagi: I'm all right! What's wrong with America? It doesn't mean that we can't see each other forever! [tries to smile, but then looks sad again] And... I'll always be in love with you. Good luck in your studies.
Water starts to spray from the river as the scene switches back to the parlor.
Makoto: Usagi-chan, are you really okay?
Usagi: It's okay, one of his dreams is coming true and I have to see him off, smiling.
Rei: Usagi...
Usagi: [starts laughing cheerfully] I'm okay, I tell you!
The scene switches to an alley way, with Usagi walking away. The four girls watch her.
Makoto: With such an unexpected story, it must be very hard for her.
(?): Chibi Usa-chan has also gone back to the future.
(?): She must be lonely.
The scene switches to nighttime in Usagi's bedroom. Usagi is sitting on her bed looking at a picture of her, Mamoru, and Chibi Usa.
Usagi: Chibi Usa, what shall I do?
Luna: Usagi-chan!
Usagi: [looks up, surprised] Luna!
Luna: Cheer up!
Usagi: But I can't.
Luna: Usagi-chan.
The scene switches, showing Mamoru packing. At the same time, you hear Usagi talking to Luna.
Usagi: Although spring has arrived, Chibi Usa is back in the 30th century... and Mamo-chan... Mamo-chan is going to study abroad.
We see Mamoru pick up a picture, which happens to be the same one that Usagi is holding. The scene switches back to Usagi staring into the picture.
Usagi: To be honest with you... I want to say "No, please stay with me!" [sobs] I'm not so strong.
Luna: Hey! Do you remember when you met me for the first time? You were a crybaby and rash, but, compared to those days, I think you've become much more mature.
Usagi: Luna...
Luna: Let's see him off with a smile!
Usagi looks at Luna, her eyes watering.
The scene changes to an airport. An announcer can be heard saying, "New Japan Airlines to New York, all passengers should proceed to departure gate."
Mamoru [looking out the large window]: It's time.
Usagi: Mamo-chan!
Mamoru: [turns and see Usagi] Usako!
The two look at each other in a sad but romantic way. Usagi walks over to Mamoru.
Mamoru: I thought you weren't coming today because of school.
Usagi: I'll be waiting! I'll be waiting for you.
Mamoru: For the time being, I will be so busy that I won't contact you so often.
Usagi: That's all right! I'll write to you everyday! So... [tears start falling down face] Oh no... I planned to see you off with a smile today. [wipes tears away]
Mamoru: Usako. [hands Usagi a small box] Open it.
She carefully takes the box and opens it, revealing a ring with a pink heart in the middle.
Usagi: Mamo-chan! This is...!
Mamoru: Here. [takes the ring and places it on Usagi's finger] I love you, Usako.
An extremely happy look appears on her face, and she runs into his arms.
Usagi: Thank you! I'll treasure it.
The two look into each others eyes, and they kiss.
Mamoru: Now, I have to go.
Usagi nods and holds onto his arm. Then all of a sudden, a crowd starts to scream. They look over and wonder what's happening.
Usagi: What's that?
Mamoru: Maybe some celebrates or something. Now, let's go.
Usagi nods and giggles happily as they start walking.
We see in the crowd the Three Lights struggling through the crowd of screaming fans with hearts in their eyes.
Seiya: Excuse me! Could you please let me pass? You're annoying us! Go away!
Seiya breaks through the crowd. As he's walking, he passes Usagi and Mamoru. Suddenly, Seiya gets a strange feeling about her.
The scene switches to a plane taking off. Usagi watches it go.
Usagi: [thinking] Take care, Mamo-chan!
Scene changes again, showing group of galaxies as a voice speaks.
Voice: I feel it! The energy of ever-shining stars! True starseeds!
We then see that the person talking is a woman wearing gold.
Woman: On that blue shining planet, there are still lots of sleeping starseeds. Find them! Go get the starseeds... in order to dominate all the galaxies!
Several golden spheres start to head towards Earth. One of them starts to approach an airplane.
Inside the airplane, Mamoru looks down at his picture of him, Usagi, and Chibi Usa, and says, "Usako." Then he stares out his window and sees the sphere coming. It hits the airplane, engulfing it in a golden light like an explosion.
The scene quickly switches to Yaten looking up all of a sudden as he plays the guitar (in perhaps a dressing room?).
Yaten: Another light of a star has just disappeared.
Seiya: Did they do it?
Yaten: [nods head]
Taiki: In such a situation, I wish she would have been here.
Seiya: Or... she might be pretty close to us.
Yaten: We have to hurry!
Seiya: We don't have much time left!
