 Ok, in the horrible F.H.E. Video release of the "Arcadia of My Youth" feature, chopped and butchered to 80 minutes from the 130 minute original and renamed "Vengeance of the Space Pirate", the Arcadia theme was dubbed as follows:

 I'll never fill my mind with sorrow 
or thoughts of yesterday.. 
I'll spread my wings to see tomorrow 
and simply fly away. 
Our life's too short to spend it waiting 
for time to take its toll... 
Instead i'll spend it celebrating 
the freedom of my soul.

 To be free without a care 
to lead my life no matter where 
to truly see and be aware 
Seek out whatever's there!

 For there are times when it's so hard 
to face the night alone 
But when the shadows fade away 
I'll be here to greet a brand new day!

 It works fine for me, even if the rest of the video was incredibly cheap and chopped. Now according to the liner notes in Arcadia of My Youth, the direct translation is:

 Staring only straight ahead, i set out 
because i have no regrets for yesterday, 
which is done. 
I do not need serenity, i want solitude. 
Without solitude i cannot chase my dream.

The colder and stricter you become

 The increasing scars i have 
in exchange for freedom, and burning pain 
are signs that i live. 
There was also a day when 
I stopped walking in love 
that too is part of the faraway past

Let's stake everything on this life of mine! 
The only thing I am after 
is just a life, at the end of which i can laugh as i die.
