KOR Manga Chapter Summaries

Most Kimagure Orange Road sites are based on the anime continuity - probably because many fans have only seen the commercially subtitled OAVs or the first movie, or they've seen the fansubbed KOR TV series. While I like KOR in its anime forms, I believe that fans are missing a great story if they don't take the opportunity to read the original source of KOR - Matsumoto Izumi's excellent manga.

Here you will find summaries of the KOR manga. These pages are designed to give fans of the KOR anime series who aren't familiar with the manga storyline the chance to find out more about the manga before they buy it.
With 156 chapters versus 56 anime episodes (plus the first KOR movie), the KOR manga allows for better character development and more storylines. It also doesn't suffer from the many contradictions seen in the anime - most notably, the way the triangle is eventually resolved.

These are not meant to be a substitute for purchasing the manga - therefore, no manga scans are included (except for the wideban volume covers). Also, the summaries do not include every detail of each story - only enough to give the reader the basic idea of what happens in the story. Hopefully, these will whet your appetite so that you'll want to read the manga for yourself.
