PE is actually pretty good if you look at it in terms of being a hybrid
RPG/Resident Evil-type game.

I can't really agree that the changes to Final Fantasy VII tarnished the
series name, but I guess I can sympathize--the 64 version of Castlevania
takes all the charm of this once great series and just tosses it out the
window. :( It sickens me to see the folks in r.g.v.n slobbering over it,
proclaiming it to be the best/second best CV ever... ick.

All I'm saying about a potential GBC ST is that it could be a neat little
offshoot in its own right, without damaging the series reputation. Has the
GB version of King of the Fighters turned people off the KOF series, with
its SD graphics and (presumably) poor selection of moves? OK, I'm done. ;)
