Tooru Shirou
Tooru is Kamui Shirou's mother, Tokiko's sister. She was the close friend of Saya Monou, Fuuma and Kotori's mother. Six years ago, she and Kamui left the city of Tokyo after the death of Saya. Tooru had always said that Saya died because of them (incident described under Saya's
paragraph). Two weeks before Kamui returned to Tokyo, Tooru killed
herself in a fire. Before she died, she said to Kamui, "Go back to Tokyo, your future is waiting for you there." The maiden name of Tooru Shirou was Magami. Ma can mean truth while gami can mean god. Those of the Magami family are "kage-nie" (shadow + offering). By becoming the "shadow" of some person, they become an "offering", receiving all of his misfortune in place of the person.
