After their first sexual encounter, Izumi had nightmare every night. Every night, he would come down with a fever & cried in his sleep asking Koji to stop. Koji was torn apart watching this, so he swore to himself that he would keep his desire and needs to himself and not hurt Izumi again. To rid himself of his bursting desire for Izumi, he once again started womanizing. However, Izumi was hurt to see Koji came home every night drunk and covered with women perfume.

Since Izumi could not make up his mind on his future career, his school’s principal asked Izumi to go to Italy with him. He wanted Izumi to see for himself how good the Italy school and its soccer team is.

Meanwhile, on a live TV broadcast Koji announced his desire to retire from singing so that he could focus his energy to convince the love of his life that he really loved him. Izumi was moved. However, he could not bring himself to tell Koji that he was leaving for Italy for a week, so he left Koji a note telling him that he would be back. Koji went berserk when he found the note. He immediately went to chase after him. On his way to the airport, Koji had a car accident and was in a coma. The doctor had judged that it will take a miracle for Koji to wake up again. When Izumi came back, he was devastated to see what his actions had caused. He cried over & over for Koji to wake up, but in vain. Finally Izumi could no longer deal with the reality that once again he was left behind; he decided to erase Koji out of his life and continue with his life. He would go to Italy to pursue his soccer career.
