Izumi went back to school and continued his daily routine. A new member, Hisaya, had joined the soccer team. Hisaya’s girlfriend, Eri was a big fan of Koji. Hisaya was extremely jealous of the dedication his girlfriend expressed toward Koji. Izumi was impressed by Hisaya’s skill since he was able to defend the goal & catch his soccer ball. After Izumi left Koji, he became homeless. Hisaya found him near school one day and invited him to stay over. Meanwhile, Serika was upset that his brother had decided to leave the still unconscious Koji for Italy.

Izumi went to say his finally goodbye to Koji. Hearing this, Koji woke up from his sleep and beg Izumi not to leave him. After the accident, Koji lost his voice. Doctor said that this was caused by emotional stress, that Koji subconsciously refused to speak. At this time, Koji's father died and stated on his will that Koji would inherit his title. Koji was devastated that all he had done was to cause Izumi pain. He was so depressed that he decided to set Izumi free and went back to inherit his family title. Shibuya phoned Koji one night and yelled at him that after all the pain he caused Izumi. Now all he did was turned his back to Izumi. “Is this anyway to love someone!!” Shibuya asked Koji. Hearing this, Koji made up his mind and went out to find Izumi.
