Howdy, Hairboy here. Welcome to my little section devoted to Tokusatsu. If that word doesn't mean anything to you, don't feel left out. It is the Japanese term used to describe any of the TV shows or movies with special effects. It basically just means special photography. This covers a wide range of shows and movies.         Below you will find a couple of my favorite movie series in this genre. If I can get off my butt, get some stuff scanned and get to writing, I will be adding some TV shows as well. I hope to have a section on Blue Swat, Sentai, and Ultraman among others. If there is a show or movie in this vein you want to see let me know. Godzilla        He's the biggest, meanest, ass-kickin'est monster of them all. You've probably watched all of the older movies that have been imported and shown on TV from time to time. But some of his newer flicks have yet to land on our shores. Zeiram/Zeiram 2         Join Iria in her battles against the evil cybernetic monstrosity known only as Zeiram. These two tokusatsu later spawned the Iria: Zeiram The Animation anime OAV and should be required viewing for anyone who calls themselves a Sci-Fi fan. Ultraman         He's big, silvery, and shoots energy beams from his hands. Had this guy been around when Godzilla first showed up on the scene, the big G's film career would have been a short one.
