Dragonball
Creator: Akira Toriyama
Publisher: Jump Comics
Summary: Based on the Chinese Legend of the Monkey King, this is a story
about a young boy, Goku, and his life as he fights to find the mystical artifacts known as
Dragon Balls and make a wish. Later he finds that he's an alien and spends quite a lot of
time fighting those of his race as well as other races.
Couple(s): Trunks+Goten, Goku+Piccolo, Gohan+Piccolo, Vegita+Goku,
Yamcha+Tenshinhan, Tenshinhan+Chaozu
Status: case closed
Conclusions: inconclusive, but very *VERY* likely
Observations: Goten never has any luck with women (trying to
overcompensate, most likely) and ends up single, hanging around with Trunks. So they are
always together. Not only this, but while married couples are, for the most part, featured
in one of the ending sequences, one of the couples not silhouetted is very openly shown to
be Trunks and Goten. Yamcha, curiously, also ends up single and hangs around quite a lot
with Tenshinhan. Mysteriously enough, he started out with a deathly fear of
women.
Misc: There are 42 manga volumes, I believe, of Dragonball, and well over
two hundred episodes of the anime. Plus movies out the ear.:)

Ranma 1/2
Creator: Takahashi Rumiko
Publisher: Shonen Sunday
Summary: Poor Ranma Saotome...he fell in a cursed spring in China and was
doomed to spend the rest of his life transforming into a girl when hit with cold water.
Fortunately, he could turn back with an application of hot water. This whole series is
populated with other cast members plagued by these curses and stranger idiosyncrasies (in
typical wacky Takahashi fashion).
Couple(s): Ranma+Ryouga, Ranma+Kuno, Ryouga+Mousse, Ranma+Tarou,
Ryouga+Tarou, Tsubasa+Ranma, Tsubasa+Konatsu, Konatsu+Ranma, Kuno+Sasuke (eww),
Ranma+Ranma (long story)
Status: case closed
Conclusions: yes and no... (see observations)
Observations: Activity is confirmed, at least in several ways. In one
story Ranma actually does fall in love with Ryouga and says as much. It is intimated that
the tragedy at the end of that story is that Ryouga may actually return it in some way
(oddly enough)...the others are sort of iffy; Ranma comes on to Kuno in girl-type form
frequently, to get favors, and Ryouga often teams up with Mousse. Tarou and the others is
pure speculation, but they seem to be somewhat popular with some fans ofthe series. Sasuke
kind of obviously worships Kuno, and Kuno is in love with Ranma's female form but seems to
shut off the fact that he has seen Ranma transform into it numerous times.
Misc: 38 volume manga series, OAV's, Movies, T.V. series...
Takahashi-san is also the creator of Maison Ikkoku, Inu-Yasha, Urusei
Yatsura, the Mermaid sagas, and the Rumic World series

Weiss Kruez
Creator: Project Weiss, Koyasu Takehito, and Tsuchiya Kyoko
Summary: What can I say? Weiss Kreuz is a group of florist-by-day and
assassins-at-night. Altogether there is Fujimiya Aya (real name Ran), Hidaka Ken, Kudoh
Yohji and Tsukiyono Omi made up the White Cross (in German->Weiss Kreuz). Their head is
the mysterious Persia helped by his two beautiful assistance Birman and Manx (the
outhority figure maintains their code name everytime, real names never found out). And in
this series, there are three fractions of assassin groups; one being the Weiss (the good
guys), the others being Schwarz (black--the total oppsite of the Weiss) and Schreint
(screaming--an all-female members group, also bad guys). Weiss's main enemy here is the
Takatori Clan, suppossedly the big bad wolves of the show. Interconnected storylines that
seemed too much to understand along with different missions make up Weiss Kreuz into an
endearing anime full of deep secrets. It's like watching X-Files without the weirdness of
UFOs and ghosts and ghouls. Only conspriracy.
Couple(s): Based on the most popular pairings in Jap. doujinshis:
Yohji/Omi; Aya/Ken; Aya/Yohji; Ken/Omi; Yohji/Ken; Aya/Omi (In that particular order ^^;)
Status: Inconclusive.
Formats: TV Series, Radio Drama, Manga. Some say Weiss has already
finished airing, some adamantly say no. Only time will tell...
Conclusions: Activity rather shadowy but not too subtle. Hints drop once
or twice.
Observations: Elements of psychology, religion, blood and emotions blend
into one making it one of the hottest anime ever to come from Japan. FURTHER OBSERVATIONS
