Since SFT University of Alberta offers free membership, we also accept donations from those who wish to make a financial contribution to the organization. It is a combination of these donations and fundraising that provide for the costs of running this group. Cheques or money orders made out to SFT U of A are accepted in any amount and can be sent to:

Other Donation Options:
There are a variety of reputable Tibet-related organizations that rely entirely on membership fees and donations. When considering these options, donate as if lives depend on it (because they do).

Tibetan Nuns Project: Adopt a nun for 30$ a month.

International Campaign for Tibet: A variety of payment/membership options to one of the most active and aggressive organizations devoted to Tibet.

The Tibet Fund: Includes child, monk and nun sponsorship, the Blue Book and pendant programs, and other payment options which provide urgently needed health and educational assistance.
