       I never thought the day would come when I would be asked to write for the Anipike! One of my number one places to visit when I want to get the scoup on new anime is the Anipike and I always get drawn up into all of the extras such as the guest pick articles! Well, I guess now you're wondering why I'm even here right now!

(Anibot-note: As most of our guestwriters, Neptune-Star was proposed via email by another anime fan who described her as "... the best person I know on the internet". It is no empty praise for her proposer is one of the more popular anime website owners. :)

       Well, I should tell you a little about myself... My name is "Neptune-Star" but many call me Vicki. (shhh... it's a secret! Wouldn't want people to catch on to... ah... never mind hehehe ^_^;) I'm another Anime fan from Ontario, Canada who loves to learn all they can about anime! Then one day, I decided to learn HTML... watch out world! Here I come! Well, I wasn't a natural at it... but for those who have seen my first pages will know how big of a leap I have taken in design so far on my webpages.

       Right now, most know me from my Anime Adoption Agency I run. It hasn't even been a year but it's slowly coming around! I came up with the concept of people adopting anime pets for their webpages one late stormy night in August last year, when I had nothing to do! I had just gotten a brand new computer and I thought "Hey! Why not?" So I did and I am glad I did ^_^ I have much fun with it and I'm sure people love the concept as well! Don't get me wrong though... I know I didn't create the idea first... I soon came to realize that there were many different types of adoption pages! (Anibot-note: Visit the if you're curious about it! :)

       For those who would like to know, I am majoring in Music right now going into my last year of high school (yay!). I play the flute, piano and violin. I love classical music the best! Ever listen to Vanessa-Mae? No?? You should! Right now! Yeah! I want you to go to a music store right now and get her albums! Just kidding but really, you should listen to her! She's a great violinist and she does great techno-acoustic music on the violin as well as classical! ^_^ I also like to draw, paint and sketch, (anime of course but I also do some real life work as well...) But lets get on to Anime!!! Yeah!

       I still have a chuckle sometimes when I think back to when my anime craze began. I remember sitting down to watch some television with some children I was babysitting a few years back when this commercial came up on YTV advertising a new action doll for girls: Sailor Moon. I started laughing at the mere concept! Well, within two months, I was watching the show. Then I started to do some research and found out about the original story. I was hooked!

       Now, I own over 40 original episodes, almost 50 posters, 700 cards, 3 playing card decks, and 4 of those dolls I couldn't stop laughing at when I first laid eyes on them. Of course, it's not all Sailor Moon anymore ^_^ I became entranced with other anime series and movies. Such as Ranma 1/2, Fushigi Yuugi, Pocket Monsters (a.k.a. PokÈmon), and so many more, it would take all night to list! Besides, I have to get going on this! So now, I'll state some of my favourite anime sites to go to ^_^ Enjoy! 1. michiru dot com

This site belongs to one of the most amazing people I have ever met. This site has a collection of her webpages that she makes dealing with anime and other things important to her. I first met her through ICQ but I had been a huge fan and visitor of one of her earlier pages http://michirukaioh.animecity.nu which is still going strong to this day!

2. Fushigi Yuugi Network

Wow! This site has everything dealing with Fushigi Yuugi! They even have a non-spoilers version of the page to protect those who haven't seen the entire series yet. (Although if you haven't yet, then maybe you should!) You can view song lyrics, go to separate character shrines and soo much more!!! An awesome site for any Fushigi Yuugi fan!

3. girl germs

You want a page that has great graphics? Great layout? Great everything? Great! ^_- Then head on over to Girl Germs and see what Mara has brewing now! This girl has got a great skill with programming and HTML knowledge! I practically worship her! "I'm not worthy!!!" ^_^; I never knew that so much could be done with webpages! While you're there, check out Pluto Planet Power and Team Venus!

4. PokÈmon Invasion

This page is so cute!! Well, with Pikachu on the front page, how can it not? Well, I'm not the only one to like this page! Many many people have visited and with good reason too! Pictures, downloads, information, this page is complete for a PokÈmon fan, new or old, to visit! Did I mention it was cute? ^_^

5. Sailormoon Music Archive

Well, me being a huge fan of music and Sailormoon, what better page to mention? Here, you can download music from Sailormoon (duh!) but you have to be careful not to overuse their system. They have the power to ban you from downloading! Just thought I'd warn you! Other than that, it's great for music. I'd say they have all of it!
