Gundam Works

This section of the Gundam Project features story synopses, information on characters and mechanics, and credits for each show. Note that the original Gundam movie trilogy, Gundam 0080, and Gundam 0083 are now available in English subtitled form from AnimeVillage.com.

The One Year War

The original Mobile Suit Gundam television series aired in 1979. In the last decade, a new generation of Gundam creators have produced their own video series set during the original story's cataclysmic One Year War era.

The Universal Century

In the late '80s and early '90s, Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino returned to the Gundam saga. Tomino advanced the storyline of the original series in ever-greater narrative jumps, ultimately spanning entire generations.

Alternate Universes

After the end of V Gundam, Sunrise recruited new creators to extend the Gundam iconography into a series of unrelated alternate universes. Now, for Gundam's twentieth anniversary, Tomino himself is launching a new alternate universe... or is he?
