Released in February 1995, this Super Famicon game was a fairly straightforward replay of the original Gundam story. However, it also featured a brief original story set during the One Year War, in which the Federation's Gundam Pixie battles Zeon's Wolf Gar special forces team. The appearance of the Zeon mobile suit Efreet implies a shared continuity between Cross Dimension 0079 and 1996's Blue Destiny game.
