Mobile Suit Variation Gundam Sentinel Double Fake
|
Format: Photo-novel This original Gundam story, set in the same time period as Gundam ZZ, was originally published as a serialized photo-novel in the modeling magazine Model Graphix. Running from September 1987 to August 1988, it quickly became a cult favorite thanks to the super-detailed mechanical designs by Hajime Katoki and the high-tech story by veteran Gundam fan Masaya Takahashi (writer of the "MS Senki" comic). The serial was also accompanied by a line of Bandai model kits. The form in which the Gundam Sentinel story is most familiar to fans is the immense "Gundam Wars III," a 320-page tome released in September 1989, which contains the complete photo-story and all the line art you can eat. The story was republished in July 1990 as a text novel, subtitled "Alice's Confession." Characters and Mechanics Index
