He
switched jobs from being an editor of Yasejidai to that of Asuka, the
monthly shoujo manga magazine in which X itself is serialized. He is a
"windmaster" which means his power comes from the wind. His nephew,
Daisuke Saiki, is another windmaster in X. Maybe "ki" in both of their
lastnames signifies that? Seiichirou has met Yuzuriha before but we are
not told of the details. In the anime, he's a normal salary man who wants to protect Tokyo in which his wife and daughter live happily.
