You might consider episodes like #33 your least favorite because they were difficult to watch, but didn't they make the show that much more compelling by injecting some real tension? And personally, my favorite character was Akio's car.

choosing favorite episodes usually means choosing invidivual stories that appeal rather than those that fit into the main plot arc...and there were "two-parters" in there...
